Material Testing

 

HDL has an established soil and concrete laboratory that is both AASHTO accredited and U.S. Army Corps certified.  We have expanded our laboratory services to include asphalt testing.  HDL has geotechnical engineers and several highly-trained and experienced technicians who perform these services in the laboratory and field.  Services we perform include gradation, density, moisture, soil index, consolidation, unconfined compression, triaxial compression, permeability, LA abrasion, Nordic abrasion, degradation, and sodium sulphate soundness tests on aggregate.  Additionally, we conduct a full range of testing for concrete, grout, mortar, and asphalt.
