Terri Mitchell is HDL’s Environmental Group Manager. She is a graduate of Western Washington University with degrees in biology and animal behavior. Terri has over 10 years of experience in environmental documentation, storm water pollution prevention plans (MSGP and construction), permitting, wetlands delineation, functional assessment of wetlands, polar bear-human interaction plans, phase I environmental site assessments, water quality testing and the NEPA process. Terri serves on the Alaska Storm Water Steering Committee that formulated the Memorandum of Understanding between agencies regulating the Alaska Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead (AK-CESCL) training and certification program. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Environmental Policy and Management. Terri is a member of the Women of Wind Energy and the American Water Resources Association. She is a 30-year Anchorage resident and enjoys volunteering with Engineers Without Borders and is on the Board of Directors at the Alaska Zoo. |
